Job Description
We are looking for a proactive 1st Shift Part-Time Warehouse Associate to join our team at Aldi. Our warehouse operations play a crucial role in receiving, selecting, and delivering products to our stores efficiently. This position offers an average of less than 30 hours per week, working with a dedicated team in both ambient and temperature-controlled areas. Comprehensive training and safety programs ensure that you have the skills needed to succeed in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
- Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
- Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
- Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
- Provide feedback for process improvement.
- Ensure product quality, safety, and sanitation standards are met.
- Independently make decisions within your area of responsibility.
- Support warehouse management in achieving goals.
- Operate equipment safely and according to guidelines.
- Report product quality, safety concerns, and sanitation issues.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, drive for success, and organizational efficiency.
- Ability to interpret company policies and procedures.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Basic math skills.
- High School Diploma preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Lift and place products up to 45 pounds.
- Move merchandise throughout the warehouse.
- Stand, bend, reach, push, pull, and walk in various temperatures.
- Operate powered industrial equipment.
