Job Description
Jazz Pharmaceuticals is looking for an Executive Director, Late Development Team Lead in the field of Oncology. As a critical role in the organization, the Executive Director will lead the Late Development Team in establishing and executing global product strategies, integrating various aspects of product development from scientific rationale to commercial strategies.
Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional Late Development Teams from proof of concept to product approval.
- Establish vision and strategy for product development, optimizing value for patients.
- Develop global Integrated Product Development Plans and oversee regulatory filings.
- Provide strategic guidance to functional matrix teams and activities.
- Mentor team members, set clear expectations, and optimize team performance.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive product development.
- Ensure timely escalation of risks and issues to senior leaders and governance committees.
- Contribute to disease area assessments and portfolio initiatives.
Requirements
- +15 years of global multi-disciplinary drug development experience in pharma/biotech industry.
- Proven leadership in late-phase Solid Tumor Oncology drug development and regulatory submissions.
- Experience in managing collaborations and alliances.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make timely decisions.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, promoting diversity and inclusion.
Education and Licenses
- Advanced degree (MD, PhD, PharmD) required.
Salary
The base pay range for this role is $253,600-$380,400. Additional benefits include annual cash bonus, equity grants, medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401k plan, and flexible paid vacation.
