1st Shift Part-Time Warehouse Associate

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Part-Time Warehouse Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a warehouse associate, your role will involve efficiently receiving and selecting incoming stock, organizing merchandise, preparing shipments, and maintaining warehouse cleanliness and safety standards. In addition to typical warehouse duties, you will collaborate with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership to improve processes and achieve goals.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise according to product handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipments.
• Perform general cleaning to maintain warehouse appearance and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with the team.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes and assists in achieving goals.
• Inspect product quality, safety, and sanitation issues.
• Operate equipment safely and notify management of any concerns.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to follow company policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Basic arithmetic skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and in a team.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and place up to 45 pounds of product.
• Move merchandise, sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, and walk throughout the warehouse.
• Work in varying temperatures and operate powered industrial equipment.
