1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at ALDI. This full-time role offers 30-35 hours per week with a starting wage ranging from $20.75 to $26.75 per hour, based on the shift and schedule differential pay. The 1st shift starts at 7:00 AM, and we have various schedules available to suit different preferences.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise according to product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties to maintain warehouse appearance and safety.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and cooperate with peers and leadership.
• Provide input for process improvement and assist in achieving budgeted goals.
• Inspect product quality and safety; follow ergonomic and safety guidelines.

Job Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years
• Demonstrates conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds; operate powered industrial equipment.
• Work in varying temperatures, stand, bend, reach, and walk throughout the warehouse.
