1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are currently seeking a Full-Time 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. As a Warehouse Package Handler, you will play a crucial role in efficiently handling incoming stock, preparing merchandise for shipment, maintaining warehouse standards, and ensuring effective communication with peers and warehouse leadership.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise in line with handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning tasks and assist in warehouse inventory counts.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues and provide input for process improvements.
• Inspect product quality and report any concerns to management.
• Operate equipment safely and follow company procedures and policies.

Job Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrates conscientiousness, collaboration, positivity, and resilience.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Basic arithmetic skills and the capability to work independently or within a team.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Operate powered industrial equipment.
• Work in various temperatures and physical environments.
