1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a Part-Time 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join the ALDI team. As a package handler, you will play a crucial role in receiving, selecting, and delivering products to our stores. With an average of fewer than 30 hours per week, this position offers the opportunity to work in both ambient and temperature-controlled areas. Your dedication and hard work will be supported by a comprehensive training and safety program to ensure success.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties to maintain warehouse appearance and safety standards.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts.
• Collaborate with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership to improve processes.
• Ensure product quality, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift and move products up to 45 pounds.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely and effectively.
