1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are hiring a 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. This is a full-time position with an average of 30-35 hours per week. The starting wage ranges from $18.00 to $22.00 per hour based on shift and schedule differential pay. The 1st Shift starts at 7:00 AM.

Job Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise according to warehouse guidelines.
• Load and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts.
• Collaborate with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
• Provide feedback to improve processes.
• Inspect product quality and report issues.
• Perform tasks efficiently and within company procedures.
• Operate equipment safely.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old or above.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, teamwork, positive attitude, drive for success, and efficiency.
• Ability to interpret company policies, communicate effectively, perform basic arithmetic, pay attention to detail, and work independently or in a team.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products up to 45 pounds.
• Move merchandise, sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, and walk throughout the warehouse.
• Work in varying temperatures and operate powered industrial equipment.
