1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join Aldi's warehouse team. This full-time position offers 30-35 hours per week and a starting wage of up to $20.75 - $26.75 per hour based on shift and schedule differential pay. As a Warehouse Package Handler, you will be responsible for efficiently handling incoming stock, organizing merchandise, preparing shipments, and maintaining warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock accurately to fulfill store orders.
• Organize and relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Prepare shipments and unload incoming deliveries.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and warehouse leadership.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes and assist in achieving goals.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, teamwork, positive attitude, resilience, and efficiency.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and move products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
• Work in varying temperatures and physical conditions.
• Stand, bend, reach, push, pull, and walk throughout the warehouse.
