1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for motivated individuals to join us as 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handlers at Aldi. As part of our team, you will play a crucial role in efficiently handling stock, preparing merchandise for shipment, and maintaining warehouse standards to ensure timely deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipments.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts.
• Cooperate with team members and warehouse leadership.
• Provide input for process improvement.
• Inspect product quality and address safety concerns.
• Achieve budgeted goals and follow company procedures.
• Operate equipment safely and maintain warehouse cleanliness.

Job Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, drive for success, and organizational efficiency.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to follow company policies and procedures.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and handle products up to 45 pounds.
• Move merchandise for deliveries.
• Operate powered industrial equipment.
