1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. The average hours are 30-35 per week with a starting wage of up to $22.75 per hour. The position involves selecting and receiving incoming stock, relocating merchandise in the warehouse, sorting and loading merchandise for shipment, maintaining warehouse appearance standards, and assisting with inventory counts. Additionally, the role requires effective communication with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership, as well as the ability to make independent decisions within the delegated area of responsibility.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, drive for success, and efficiency.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies, excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the capacity to work both independently and in a team environment.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Frequently lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely and properly.
• Work in varying temperatures and indoor/outdoor environments.
