1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join Aldi's team on a full-time basis. This role offers competitive starting wages ranging from $20.75 to $26.75 per hour, based on shift and schedule differentials. As a warehouse package handler, you will be responsible for efficiently receiving and organizing incoming stock, preparing merchandise for shipment, maintaining warehouse cleanliness, and collaborating effectively with team members and management.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock accurately to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise within the warehouse following handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment and unload incoming shipments.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and contribute suggestions for process improvements.
• Cooperate with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership for effective communication and information exchange.

Requirements

• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success as per ALDI Acts competencies.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds, perform basic arithmetic, follow instructions, and work both independently and in a team environment.
