1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are hiring for the position of 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler at Aldi, offering a full-time role with an average of 30-35 hours per week. The starting wage is competitive, ranging from $19.50 to $23.50 per hour based on shift and schedule differentials. The shift for this position starts at 7:00AM.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Selects and receives incoming stock efficiently to fulfill store orders.
• Relocates merchandise according to handling guidelines.
• Sorts, organizes, loads merchandise for shipment, and unloads incoming shipments.
• Performs warehouse cleaning and inventory counts.
• Collaborates effectively with peers and warehouse leadership.
• Inspects product quality and safety, suggesting improvements.
• Operates equipment following safety guidelines.

Job Qualifications:

• 18 years of age or older.
• Acts conscientiously, collaborates, demonstrates positive attitude, drives for success, organizes efficiently.
• Ability to interpret company policies, communicate effectively, perform basic arithmetic, pay attention to detail, work in a team environment.

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Lift and place products up to 45 pounds, frequently.
• Move merchandise, sit, stand, bend, reach, grip, push, pull, lift, carry, walk throughout the warehouse.
• Work in varying temperatures and safely operate industrial equipment.
