1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join the team at Aldi. As a Warehouse Package Handler, you will be responsible for efficiently handling and preparing merchandise for shipment, maintaining warehouse appearance standards, and collaborating with team members and leadership to improve processes.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise within the warehouse according to guidelines.
• Load and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Clean warehouse and participate in inventory counts.
• Communicate effectively with peers, suppliers, and leadership.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes.
• Ensure product quality, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Operate equipment safely and notify management of any issues.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Demonstrate concern for quality, safety, and collaborative teamwork.
• Ability to adapt positively to challenges and changes.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Physical ability to lift up to 45 pounds and operate equipment safely.
