Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. As a full-time employee, you will be responsible for efficiently handling incoming stock, organizing merchandise, and preparing shipments for delivery. The role requires attention to detail, collaboration with team members, and adherence to safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment.
• Perform cleaning duties to maintain warehouse standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and management.
• Provide input for process improvements and achieve budget goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement: 18.
• Ability to work conscientiously, collaborate with the team, and adapt positively to challenges.
• Excellent communication skills and efficiency in executing tasks.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
• Work in varying temperatures and perform physical tasks throughout the warehouse.
