1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. As a warehouse package handler, you will be responsible for efficiently handling incoming stock, relocating merchandise, preparing shipments, maintaining warehouse cleanliness, and working collaboratively within the warehouse team.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders efficiently.
• Relocate merchandise according to warehouse guidelines.
• Load and unload merchandise for shipments.
• Clean and organize the warehouse to meet safety standards.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts.
• Collaborate effectively with peers and warehouse leadership.
• Provide feedback to improve warehouse processes.
• Inspect products for quality, safety, and sanitation.
• Perform assigned tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Operate equipment following safety guidelines.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products up to 45 pounds.
• Move merchandise and prepare for deliveries.
• Stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk in varying temperatures.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
