Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for efficiently handling incoming stock, preparing merchandise for shipment, maintaining warehouse appearance, and collaborating with team members and warehouse leadership.
Responsibilities
- Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
- Relocate merchandise according to handling guidelines.
- Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
- Participate in inventory counts.
- Cooperate effectively with peers and leadership.
- Provide input for process improvements.
- Inspect product for quality and safety.
- Operate within the delegated area of responsibility.
- Assist in achieving budgeted goals.
- Perform tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Follow safety guidelines and procedures.
- Notify management of quality and safety issues.
- Other duties as assigned.
