1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are currently seeking a 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join the team at Aldi. As a vital part of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for efficiently receiving, selecting, and delivering products to our stores. Our dedicated team members work in both ambient and temperature-controlled areas, completing tasks with skill and precision.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise within the warehouse according to guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties to maintain warehouse appearance and safety.
• Assist in taking warehouse inventory counts.
• Cooperate with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership to improve processes.
• Inspect products for quality and safety concerns.
• Operate equipment following safety guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, drive for success, and efficiency.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products up to 45 pounds on pallets.
• Move merchandise throughout the warehouse.
• Work in varying temperatures.
• Safely operate powered industrial equipment.
