1st Shift Warehouse Stocker

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Stocker to join our team at Aldi. As a Warehouse Stocker, you will play a crucial role in efficiently handling incoming stock, organizing merchandise, and ensuring the timely fulfillment of orders to our stores.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise according to product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties to maintain warehouse standards.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts.
• Communicate effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
• Offer input for process improvement.
• Inspect product quality and collaborate with warehouse management.
• Operate equipment following safety guidelines.

Job Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years old.
• Demonstrates conscientiousness, collaboration, positivity, resilience, and drive for success.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Basic arithmetic skills.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products up to 45 pounds on pallets.
• Move merchandise and prepare products for delivery.
• Engage in various physical activities within the warehouse environment.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
