1st Shift Warehouse Stocker

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Stocker to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently receiving, selecting, and delivering products to our stores. Our warehouse operates in both ambient and temperature-controlled areas, and we provide thorough training and safety programs to ensure the success of our employees.

Position Details

• Position Type: Part-Time
• Average Hours: Fewer than 30 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $23.75 per hour

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise according to guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
• Provide input for process improvement.
• Inspect product quality and address safety concerns.
• Work independently within set responsibilities.
• Support warehouse management in achieving goals.
• Follow company policies and procedures accurately.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrate conscientious, collaborative, positive, driven, and organized behaviors.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies.
• Excellent communication and basic arithmetic skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently and in a team.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and move products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Operating powered industrial equipment.
• Working in varying temperatures and environments.
