1st Shift Warehouse Stocker

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time 1st Shift Warehouse Stocker to join our team at Aldi. As a warehouse stocker, you will be responsible for efficiently receiving, relocating, sorting, loading, and unloading merchandise. You will work collaboratively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership to ensure smooth warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise according to handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning and maintain warehouse appearance standards.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts.
• Cooperate effectively with team members and provide input for process improvement.
• Inspect product quality and escalate concerns to management.
• Assist in achieving budgeted goals and follow safety guidelines.
• Operate equipment and notify management of any issues.
• Perform tasks accurately, efficiently, and within company policies.
• Follow ergonomic and safety procedures.
• Complete other assigned duties as required.

Job Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrates conscientious behavior, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Basic arithmetic skills and attention to detail.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products up to 45 pounds on pallets.
• Move merchandise throughout the warehouse.
• Perform various physical activities in different warehouse environments.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
