Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join our dynamic team at Aldi. In this part-time role, you will play a crucial part in our warehouse operations, ensuring that products are efficiently received, selected, and prepared for delivery to our stores. You will work collaboratively with team members in both ambient and temperature-controlled areas, contributing to a safe and organized warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise based on handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning tasks to maintain warehouse appearance and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes.
• Inspect product quality, address safety concerns, and maintain sanitation standards.
• Contribute to achieving budget goals and follow company policies and procedures.
• Operate equipment safely and notify management of any issues.
• Perform additional assigned tasks as needed.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

Physical stamina to lift and move up to 45 pounds, work in varying temperatures, and operate warehouse equipment safely.
