1st Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join our team at Aldi. As a vital part of our warehouse operations, you will play a key role in efficiently handling, organizing, and relocating merchandise to fulfill store orders and maintain warehouse standards.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise strategically for shipment.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
• Provide feedback to improve warehouse processes.
• Inspect product quality and report safety or sanitation issues.
• Operate equipment safely in daily tasks.
• Perform all assigned tasks within company procedures.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, positivity, resilience, and efficiency at work.
• Ability to interpret and apply policies and procedures.
• Good communication, basic math skills, attention to detail, teamwork.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Move merchandise, sit, stand, bend, reach, and grip frequently.
• Work in varying temperatures and operate powered industrial equipment safely.
