1st Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and hardworking 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join our warehouse operations team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently selecting, receiving, and preparing merchandise for shipment to our stores. You will work in both ambient and temperature-controlled areas, ensuring that products are handled with care and compliance to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise according to product handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise in preparation for shipment.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes.
• Inspect products for quality and safety concerns.
• Operate equipment safely and according to guidelines.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrate concern for quality, safety, and collaboration with the team.
• Adapt positively to challenges and changes.
• Deliver excellent performance and maintain efficiency.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift and move products up to 45 pounds.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
