Job Description
We are looking for a motivated 1st Shift Warehouse Worker to join the ALDI team. As a full-time employee, you will be responsible for efficiently handling incoming stock, organizing merchandise, and preparing products for shipment. You will collaborate with peers and warehouse leadership to maintain warehouse appearance standards, achieve inventory accuracy, and contribute to process improvements.
Responsibilities
- Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
- Relocate merchandise in accordance with handling guidelines.
- Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
- Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with colleagues and management.
- Provide input for process enhancements.
- Inspect product quality and adhere to safety guidelines.
- Operate equipment following safety protocols.
Requirements
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- Ability to work conscientiously, collaborate with a team, maintain a positive attitude, drive for success, and execute tasks efficiently.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Physically able to lift and move up to 45 pounds, operate industrial equipment, and work in varied temperatures.
