Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated 2nd Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. As a full-time employee, you will work approximately 30-35 hours per week with a starting wage ranging from $22.75 to $28.75 per hour, based on shift and schedule differential pay. The 2nd shift starts at 3:00 PM.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Efficiently select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
- Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
- Sort, organize, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
- Maintain warehouse appearance standards and safety requirements through general cleaning duties.
- Participate in warehouse inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
- Provide input for process improvement and address product quality and safety concerns.
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Demonstrates conscientiousness, teamwork, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
- Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Basic arithmetic skills and ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Education and Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Lifting products up to 45 pounds, moving merchandise, and operating powered industrial equipment.
- Standing, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, and walking throughout the warehouse.
- Working in varying temperatures including outdoor and refrigerator/freezer environments.
