2nd Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are hiring a 2nd Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join the team at Aldi. This is a full-time position with an average of 30-35 hours per week. The starting wage ranges from $22.75 to $28.75 per hour, depending on the shift and schedule. The 2nd Shift begins at 3:00 PM.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise according to handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties to maintain warehouse standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and management.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes.
• Inspect product quality, safety, and sanitation issues.
• Execute tasks accurately and efficiently within company policies.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies, communicate effectively, and perform basic arithmetic.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products up to 45 pounds on pallets.
• Move merchandise, stand, bend, reach, grip, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk throughout the warehouse.
• Operate industrial equipment safely.
