2nd Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 2nd Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join the dynamic team at Aldi. This full-time position offers competitive wages, with starting wages ranging from $22.75 to $28.75 per hour, based on shift and schedule differential pay. As a Package Handler, you will be responsible for efficiently selecting, receiving, and relocating merchandise within the warehouse, preparing shipments, and maintaining warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.

Job Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise as per handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning tasks and assist in warehouse inventory counts.
• Communicate effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
• Provide input for process improvement to warehouse management.
• Inspect product quality and adhere to safety and sanitation standards.
• Operate equipment safely and report any issues to management.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift and handle products up to 45 pounds, operate powered industrial equipment, and work in varying temperatures.
• Excellent communication, attention to detail, and teamwork skills.
