2nd Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 2nd Shift Warehouse Team Member to join our growing team at Aldi. As a part-time team member, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient selection, organization, and delivery of products to our stores. This position offers a starting wage of $25.75 per hour and the opportunity to work fewer than 30 hours a week.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders efficiently.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment and unload incoming shipments.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and maintain cleanliness and safety standards.
• Collaborate with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership to improve processes.
• Inspect product quality and address safety and sanitation concerns.
• Operate equipment following safety guidelines.
• Contribute to achieving budgeted goals and perform tasks accurately and efficiently.

Job Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Demonstrate concern for quality, safety, and impact on work.
• Collaborate in a team environment and maintain a positive attitude.
• Drive for success, organize and execute tasks efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to follow instructions.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products up to 45 pounds on pallets.
• Move merchandise around the warehouse and prepare for deliveries.
• Work in varying temperatures and be able to operate powered industrial equipment.
