Job Description
We are looking for an Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Aldi. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a vital role in store management, overseeing day-to-day activities, ensuring store performance, managing schedules, and fostering team development.
Position Details
- Job Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 38 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $24.50 per hour
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement operational action plans to enhance store operations.
- Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to team members for optimal results.
- Identify training opportunities for team growth and performance improvement.
- Ensure adherence to company values and promote a collaborative team environment.
- Monitor the competitive landscape and make strategic recommendations.
- Provide feedback on products and participate in the hiring process.
- Ensure compliance with inventory and cash control policies.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Prior retail management experience preferred.
