Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Retail Manager to join the dynamic team at Aldi. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a key role in supervising day-to-day store activities, ensuring overall store performance, and developing operational action plans. Your responsibilities will include managing schedules, identifying training opportunities, and fostering a collaborative team environment.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement action plans to improve store operations
- Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to team members
- Identify training opportunities to enhance team performance
- Ensure compliance with company strategy and core values
- Monitor the competitive environment and provide product feedback
- Supervise store operations and maintain inventory levels
- Ensure adherence to inventory procedures and cash control policies
- Maintain store cleanliness and proper signage
- Merchandise products to maximize sales
- Assist with payroll, inventory counts, and training
- Resolve operational customer concerns
- Perform other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Experience in a retail environment
- Prior management experience preferred
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of retail experience
- Combination of education and experience
