Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Store Manager to join the team at Aldi. In this role, you will assist with managing day-to-day store operations, supervising staff, and ensuring the store meets performance targets. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a key role in fostering a positive work environment, driving customer service excellence, and maximizing sales.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and implementing action plans to improve store performance.
  • Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to team members.
  • Identify training opportunities to enhance team performance.
  • Maintain store cleanliness and proper merchandising standards.
  • Monitor inventory procedures and adhere to cash control policies.
  • Supervise day-to-day operations and escalate issues when needed.
  • Comply with company policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • 18 years of age or older.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Prior retail experience with management experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in operating cash registers and store equipment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
