Assistant Retail Manager

Job Description

We are looking for an Assistant Retail Manager to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will assist in supervising day-to-day store activities, managing schedules, developing action plans, and identifying training opportunities to enhance team performance.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing action plans to improve store performance.
• Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to team members.
• Identify training opportunities to enhance team performance.
• Ensure adherence to company values and promote teamwork among employees.
• Monitor the competitive environment and provide feedback on product offerings.
• Participate in the interviewing process for new hires.
• Ensure inventory procedures and cash control policies are followed.
• Maintain store cleanliness and appropriate stock levels.
• Supervise day-to-day operations and escalate issues when necessary.
• Comply with company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience in a retail environment.
• Prior management experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
