Assistant Retail Supervisor

Job Description

We are looking for an Assistant Retail Supervisor to join our team at Aldi. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a key role in managing daily store activities, enhancing overall store performance, overseeing schedules, and implementing operational plans to foster team growth and development.

Position Details

• Type: Full-Time
• Hours: 38 hours per week
• Wage: $24.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute action plans to enhance store operations
• Communicate job responsibilities and expectations to team members
• Identify training opportunities to boost team performance
• Ensure compliance with company strategy and values
• Monitor the competitive landscape and propose necessary adjustments
• Participate in the recruitment process
• Maintain inventory procedures and cash control policies
• Ensure a clean store environment and proper product display
• Assist in achieving store payroll and budget goals
• Supervise daily operations and escalate issues when needed
• Uphold company policies and procedures

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Strong leadership and management abilities
• Proficiency in applying operational and budgeting principles
• Experience operating a cash register and store equipment
• Organizational and multitasking skills
• Meeting state and local requirements for alcohol sales

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Minimum 3 years of retail experience
• Previous management experience is a plus
