Associate Buyer

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Associate Buyer to join our ALDI National Buying team. As an Associate Buyer, you will work closely with suppliers and support the Buying Director in overseeing the product life cycle of a sub-group of products. Your responsibilities will include managing product samples, recommending strategies based on market knowledge, coordinating with internal and external parties, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires exceptional time management, critical thinking skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the product life cycle of a sub-group of products.
• Manage product samples and provide recommendations based on market knowledge.
• Coordinate and prioritize projects, ensuring timely delivery of information.
• Collaborate with internal and external parties to resolve issues effectively.
• Utilize computer applications for database management and reporting.
• Train new staff and contribute to process enhancements.
• Communicate effectively with team members and leadership.
• Perform administrative duties and maintain data security.

Requirements

• Associate Degree in Business or related field.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
