Job Description

Jazz Pharmaceuticals is seeking an Associate Director, Clinical Data Innovation to lead the data and analytics platforms for the Global Clinical Development Operations (GCDO) department. This role involves overseeing personnel, processes, and technologies critical to clinical trials and driving strategic initiatives to optimize data platforms. The Associate Director will provide vision, leadership, and mentoring to the team and maintain cross-functional relationships within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic roadmap for clinical data platforms.
  • Optimize Jazz's use of data platforms and implement change management strategies.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the Clinical Data Innovation team.
  • Foster strong cross-functional relationships at a senior leadership level.
  • Engage with technology vendors and manage system user requirements.
  • Collaborate with IT partners to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Requirements

  • Extensive knowledge of clinical trials and drug development processes.
  • Experience in managing complex projects and resources.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in clinical data visualization tools and CDASH standards.
  • Background in clinical trial data collection systems and data structures.
  • Project management skills and cross-functional teamwork experience.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor or Master's Degree in Biology, Mathematics, or Computer Science.
  • Minimum of 10 years in clinical trials with 3 years of leadership experience.
  • Knowledge of Tableau, AWS, T-SQL, and elluminate is a plus.
