Cashier/Stocker (Part Time)

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated individual to join our team as a Cashier/Stocker (Part Time) at Aldi. As a Cashier/Stocker, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the customer shopping experience by operating registers, stocking shelves, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Position Type

• Part-Time position
• Average Hours: Fewer than 30 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members and communicate relevant information to direct leaders.

• Uphold the security and confidentiality of documents and data within your area of responsibility.

• Perform cashier responsibilities such as processing customer purchases, providing exceptional customer service, monitoring inventory, and adhering to cash policies.

• Perform stocker responsibilities including stocking shelves, organizing inventory, creating merchandised displays, and operating machinery safely.

Physical Demands

• Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk about the store.

• Ability to stock merchandise weighing up to 45 pounds at various heights.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.

• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.

• Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to work independently and within a team.

• Knowledge of company products and services.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Prior work experience in a retail environment is a plus.

• A combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
