Clinical Development Lead, Solid Tumor Oncology, BTC & GEA

Job Description

Jazz Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Clinical Development Lead for Solid Tumor Oncology with focus on BTC (Biliary Tract Cancer) and GEA (Gastroesophageal Adenocarcinoma). The role involves leading late-stage development and life-cycle management of a key Oncology asset, driving clinical development strategy, managing a cross-functional team, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for clinical development of Oncology program in BTC and GEA.
• Develop and execute global clinical development plans, including study design and regulatory strategy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of clinical programs.
• Oversee clinical trial execution, data analysis and interpretation, and risk management.
• Cultivate relationships with key opinion leaders and manage budget and resources effectively.
• Foster a high-performance culture within the clinical development team.

Requirements

• Demonstrable experience leading Solid Tumor Oncology asset development successfully.
• Proven leadership in high performing clinical development teams.
• Ability to articulate complex insights to executive audiences.
• MD required, Board certified Oncologist preferred.
• PhD preferred, with clinical and/or development experience in solid tumor oncology.
