Construction Cost Project Analyst

Job Description

We are looking for a Construction Cost Project Analyst to join our National Real Estate Services team at Aldi. As a key player in our growth strategy to become one of the top grocery retailers in the nation, you will manage construction costs on a national level, collaborating with divisional real estate teams to evaluate bids and ensure alignment with project scopes and regional cost trends.

Responsibilities

• Work with Construction Managers to negotiate with contractors.
• Prepare detailed bid analysis and reports to support project awards.
• Review construction documents for cost-saving opportunities.
• Track pricing data and provide forecasts on market fluctuations.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance cost control processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in Construction Estimating.
• Ability to interpret construction documents and utilize construction cost indices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and RS Means software.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
