Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our ALDI team. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in ensuring the store's success by merchandising products, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized environment.

Position Details

  • Position Type: Full-Time
  • Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
  • Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service and assist shoppers throughout their experience.
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management.
  • Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
  • Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Adhere to cash policies and company procedures to minimize discrepancies.
  • Follow established company guidelines while ensuring document security and confidentiality.

Qualifications

  • Minimum age requirement: 18 years old.
  • Ability to offer prompt and courteous customer service.
  • Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
  • Proficiency in general cleaning tasks and adherence to company standards.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Compliance with state and local regulations for handling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior retail experience is an advantage.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience considered.
