Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join the ALDI team. As a vital member of the store, you will be responsible for merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized environment to ensure an outstanding shopping experience for our customers.

Position Details

  • Position Type: Full-Time
  • Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
  • Starting Wage: $18.50 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
  • Process customer purchases, stock merchandise neatly, and maintain displays
  • Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
  • Offer feedback on products, monitor inventory accuracy, and assist with inventory counting
  • Adhere to cash handling policies, company procedures, and uphold security measures
  • Perform assigned duties and tasks as required

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
  • Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment
  • Perform general cleaning duties to company standards
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to follow instructions
  • Work well independently and as part of a team
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking
  • Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior retail experience is advantageous
  • Combination of education and experience acceptable
