Customer Service and Stock Specialist

Job Description

We are hiring a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a valued member of our staff, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the store is well-organized and stocked. This is a full-time position with an average of 32-40 hours per week and a starting wage of $19.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) outlined for the role.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management.
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
• Adhere to cash policies to minimize losses and follow company procedures.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of cash registers and store equipment.
• Proficiency in general cleaning duties and following company policies.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking capabilities.
• Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail work experience is an advantage.
• A combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
