Customer Service and Stock Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a vital member of our store operations, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. Your role will involve providing exceptional customer service, collaborating with team members, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to management.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures.
• Follow company policies, uphold security and confidentiality standards.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of a cash register.
• Safe and proper use of store equipment.
• Capability to interpret and apply company policies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Organized, detail-oriented, able to follow instructions, and multitask professionally.
• Meet state and local requirements for handling alcohol sales.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail work experience preferred.
• Combination of education and experience equivalent.
