Customer Service and Stock Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service, maintaining the store's appearance, and ensuring a pleasant shopping experience for our customers. This position is full-time, with an average of 32-40 hours per week and a starting wage of $17.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers with shopping
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
• Conduct store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
• Adhere to cash policies and minimize losses
• Comply with company policies and procedures to uphold security and confidentiality
• Perform other assigned duties as needed

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficiently operate a cash register and various equipment
• Perform cleaning tasks to company standards
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
• Stay organized, detail-oriented, and follow instructions
• Meet requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous retail experience is a plus
• Blend of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge
