Customer Service and Stock Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our ALDI team. As a vital part of our store operations, you will be responsible for cashiering, stocking shelves, and providing exceptional customer service to enhance the shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
• Work collaboratively with team members and communicate effectively with management.
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and store issues.
• Participate in store inventory counts and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Follow cash policies and procedures to minimize losses.
• Adhere to company policies, ensuring document security and confidentiality.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older to apply.
• Proficiency in cashier operations and customer service.
• Operate equipment like a cash register, hand jack, and floor scrubber.
• Ability to follow cleaning standards and company policies.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Capable of working independently and in a team environment.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask efficiently.
• Meet local requirements for the sale of alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
