Job Description
We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at ALDI. As a valued member of our store crew, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, stocking merchandise, operating the cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Perform cashiering duties, stock shelves, and maintain displays.
- Assist customers to enhance their shopping experience.
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
- Provide feedback to management on products, inventory, and operational issues.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash handling policies and procedures.
- Follow company policies to uphold security and confidentiality standards.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
- Capacity to perform general cleaning tasks to company standards.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask.
- Meet state and local requirements for alcohol handling and sales.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is advantageous.
- A blend of education and experience will be considered.
