Customer Service and Stock Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a vital part of the store operations, you will be responsible for merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness to provide an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets and Competencies while performing daily tasks.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate clearly with management.
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any issues for continuous improvement.
• Participate in inventory management and ensure accuracy according to guidelines.
• Follow cash policies to reduce losses and uphold company procedures.
• Adhere to company policies for security and confidentiality of information.
• Handle other assigned duties as needed.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older to work at ALDI.
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of a cash register with accuracy.
• Safe operation of equipment such as hand jack and floor scrubber.
• Perform general cleaning duties as per company standards.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Work effectively both independently and in a team.
• Stay organized, detail-oriented, and follow instructions efficiently.
• Meet state requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail work experience is advantageous.
• A blend of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
