Job Description: Customer Service and Stock Specialist at Aldi
As a Customer Service and Stock Specialist at Aldi, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and maintaining the store's appearance through merchandising, stocking, and cashiering duties. You will collaborate with the Aldi team to ensure a positive shopping experience for customers.
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate the ALDI M.A.P. (Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide excellent customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
- Communicate effectively with team members and management
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
- Participate in inventory counts and maintain inventory accuracy
- Follow cash policies and procedures to prevent losses
- Adhere to company policies and uphold document security and confidentiality
- Perform other assigned duties as needed
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
- Efficiently operate a cash register
- Safely operate equipment like hand jacks, floor scrubbers, and balers
- Comprehend and apply company policies
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Work well independently and in a team environment
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Compliance with local regulations for alcohol sales
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Retail experience is a plus
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
