Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a key member of our store, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized environment to ensure an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.

Position Details

  • Job Type: Full-Time
  • Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
  • Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's values and competencies in daily tasks.
  • Process customer transactions, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management.
  • Monitor inventory accuracy, report issues, and participate in store inventory counts.
  • Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures.
  • Follow company policies ensuring security and confidentiality.
  • Perform various duties as assigned by the management team.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Prior retail experience is preferred.
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service and operate a cash register.
  • Proficiency in equipment operation and general cleaning tasks.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Capable of working both independently and in a team environment.

Educational Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Combination of education and experience equivalent will be considered.
