Job Description
We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the store is well-organized, assisting customers, and maintaining a high level of customer service. Responsibilities
- Process customer purchases and maintain cleanliness in the store.
- Stock shelves and merchandise displays neatly.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
- Give feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to store management.
- Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash policies to minimize losses.
- Comply with company policies and uphold document security and confidentiality.
- Perform other assigned duties as necessary.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
- Capable of performing general cleaning duties and following company standards.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively.
- Meet all state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous retail experience is beneficial.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable.
