CVPH Registered Nurse - Maternal Newborn - night shift

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated CVPH Registered Nurse specializing in Maternal Newborn care to join our team on the night shift. As a Registered Professional Nurse, you will oversee patient care, utilizing the nursing process to provide comprehensive care, patient education, and other related activities while upholding professional nursing standards.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient outcomes.
• Coordinate nursing care in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
• Provide patient education and support.
• Flexibility to float to other departments as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Registered Professional Nurse license in New York State.
• Prior mental health experience and group facilitation skills preferred.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to meet physical/pre-placement screening requirements.
• Certification showing no record of Child Abuse, Neglect, and/or maltreatment within 30 days of employment.
